COMMON は、北郷 将による写真プロジェクト。
千葉県流山市を拠点に、日常の中でふと立ち止まりたくなるような光や余白、ざらついた静けさを記録しています。
かつてDJとして触れていたアナログレコードや、HIPHOPアーティスト「COMMON」から名を借り、オールドレンズを通して、都市と生活のすきまにある見過ごされがちな瞬間を抽象的にすくい取ろうとしています。
写真はただの記録ではなく、かたちにならない「気配」や「温度」を探る手段。ざらつきやゆらぎの奥に残る静けさを、今日もファインダー越しに見つめています。

COMMON is a photography project by Sho Kitago, based in Nagareyama, Chiba.
His work quietly captures the light, space, and textured stillness found in everyday life.
Inspired by the warmth of analog records and the raw textures of lo-fi hip-hop beats—echoing his past as a DJ—he uses old lenses to explore fleeting, often overlooked moments between city and life.
His photography isn’t about documentation, but about sensing the unspoken: atmosphere, texture, and silence.Through subtle grain and gentle shifts of light, he keeps seeking what lingers in the quiet.
